Any one else cringe when they see how dark the ocean looks at night?

I cringe when I see the very bottom of the ocean and all of the strange scary fish that are there!

I was raised 2 blocks from the Pacific Ocean and as teenagers we hung out at the beach at night all of the time. Not scary to me.

No not inside of the water. But I would be afraid to be out in the middle of the ocean on a cruise ship 🚢 at night. Now that would scare me.

No I love the coast at night it feels so fresh and alive. Things normally hidden scuttle about, you can see little eyes watching you, hear the rasping of limpets graze on rocks. Little fish scattering and jumping as something chases them, and the splashing of leaping sewin. The sea is great at night.

Everything is pretty dark, especially if it’s not a full moon it makes you not want to go for a midnight swim knowing that there’s sharks out there and nobody else, seems dangerous. I take it you Have seen the movie Jaws when that night time swimming opening scene
