well, I do volunteer at this Vet Clinic/Shelter place, and I go there once a week at least... so I know there's people go do it DAILY... work there full time/extra-time, as a second job, and I just think they're all great people, and some of the most considerate and kind, helpful and selfless, loving people as well...
going through all that pain (because, yes... these kind of places do take care of the most in need, and the awful things some have to go through), the difficult work, the stress and the costs (these things are never cheap) but they never give up, and they keep coming back... to me, this is some of the truest kindness out there
i was on a 15yo party with my girlfriend, and the birthday girl was crying cause her school “boyfriend” couldn't came, and now she couldn't do the main dance
as the girl kept crying in a corner, some guy offered to dance waltz with her to, at least, save the photo album
so she cleaned her face as fast as she could and started the basic waltz. It wasn't the dance she wanted, with the guy she wanted, but it worked out great
at the end, she hugged him so tight that the guy laughed nervously. everyone in the crowd clapped and yelled in happiness.
that shit saved my night
Since I don't have a caregiver anymore, my hamper was full to the top.
The maintenance guy was over here doing maintenance stuff and I mentioned that I need to find someone to do my laundry 🧺 for me.
It was late at night but he took my laundry hamper and went and did all of my wash for me and did it as a favor.🙂
He brought my clean clothes back to me and 10:10 PM and did it with a!😊
I was so grateful to him!!
My hubby is on this task almost daily if not weekly. He volunteers at a local HS to help kids with their projects along side the instructior. He just went to church to help those in need of car oil changes (a few guys volunteered). I do think the church should charge $10. But they won’t. So some who said will bring their car… didn’t show up.
we are also donating our car to a young woman for $100. so she can get to work.

İts a small one but it may be counted as kindness I guess and I witness it almost everyday a small house made of cardboad were made for cats to sleep and live in there and almost everyday people buy some cheap cat from the market and put on the ground for cats to eat them
I see it often in my city.. People are always helping out the elderly. I've seen strangers pay for people's groceries. My friend got a flat tire the other day and random people on the street helped her.
Some dude gave me a hat a few weeks ago and I have no idea what brand I've been repping this whole time.
I had a pile of old bedding. Sheets blankets and a couple of quilts. I donated the whole thing to the local animal shelter.
When I was in the Dominican Republic earlier this year, this Parisian girl told me that she loves American people. And with so many people hating us right now, that was so nice to hear.
I saw a lady give food that she prepared, to an old guy who doesn't know how to cook.
In person? Closest was a coworker adopting a kid like a year ago
I called the taxi for this guy at work and he bought me two $10 scratchers, so I gave him a ride down the street when the taxi didn’t show up
Yeah I can tell you in private message. I don’t wanna say it out here. In the worldwide public thread
