Why do my conversations feel so dry and awkward with women and others?

I try to say hi and hi is all I get in return.. or a blank awkward stare with no response like I don't exist.
I try to ask some questions like how are u and get like just fine.

That's it dry responses.
I dont know what I am doing wrong?
And many times I am looked at as I am going to commit a crime.
And it's not only women, it's men too.
Is it racism because I normally try to communicate out of my race. Because I hate my own race they are brainwashed to worship anything and everything.
Currently they are worshipping a genocidal man. If you know you know.
Hard to find a conversation and people say I need to go out more, how can I when I get this type of response when I try to socialise

Stoking up random conversations can be challenging.

Sadly, a lot of women just don't seem to be interested. I've had that experience before where I ask them questions, and they don't ask questions back, so I kind of take the hint. Although sometimes I wonder if it is from social awkwardness, as well. A lot of people don't know how to communicate off their phone, and women can shy and awkward, as well.

I'd probably suggest always working from within.

You know how to keep your energy good throughout the week. If you have bad habits, that can bring your energy down and affect your interactions. A lot of it is energetic, in my opinion. There may be issues with your self concept as well. You say people might perceive your ethnicity in a negative way. Well, if that is your starting point, that is going to make things challenging for you in striking up conversations. If you're apologising for your existence.

to be honest... I don't have any "conversation starters" nor planned strategies

"being myself and genuine" has always worked for me

but also, I really don't approach random girls either... and if I did

I would just be honest about it... lol

How I can make better conversations

What I mean is that when someone says hi to a person, they typically get a hi back. That’s just social protocol.

It’s like if a server comes up and asks “may I take your order” you don’t think, well my that is bold of you. No, it’s just social norms and communication.

You need to follow the “hi” with something or all you are going to get is a hi back. Just like one someone waves at a person, the other person waves back. They don’t go tackle them with a hug. Get me?

Hating your own race because some of them wear red hats isn't the best place to start from. The problem with trying to converse with people outside your own ethnicity (and I'm not saying you shouldn't) is that you don't have a common culture.

The best one I had was she made a bad face while have a sip of her coffee. And that conversation picked up. Sadly she was comited in a relationship. But we did share contact.
It's not that easy to find a good topic,.
Then my next question is what brings you here (if at a bar, charity café, )

Ask beyond that, ask other questions like about their jobs, their hobbies, families, etc.
