Well not "feel" but "are"

You're in total control of your decision making, but you are usually not in control of all the circumstances that lead to you being where you are when it's time to make a decision. You're not in control of ALL the consequences of your decision. You don't even have all the information for many decisions. You have to do the best you can with what you know. Other people have free will to make decisions too and those affect you and you can't control those or how much they affect you. Quantifying this is literally impossible. But sometimes control just comes down to feeling like you're in control enough to convince you that you are.

I don’t think anyone is ever 100% in control of their life. For me, I’d say I feel partly in control, but not fully, there are always things like circumstances and other people that we can’t control.

@Malwi93 until recently, I did not feel that I 100% controlled my life and direction. NOW, I feel that I control 100% of my life and destiny. That may not be true, though, due to unplanned or uncontrollable events. (Illness - disease)

I don't think I control anything. In fact I believe any control we might seem to have is an illusion.

No one is in total control of their lives, because the world has a way of throwing obstacles in your path, but I'd put myself in the 80-85% category. I would need to be much wealthier to be much more in control than I am now.

I'm a small business owner of a technology related business, so I am equal parts white collar and blue collar. I design some fairly complex systems and deal with business related issues, but I also use tools and get dirty, and know at least the basics of a half dozen trades. I'm not afraid to do things I've never done before, and can usually leverage my other experiences to be successful at the new thing.

My wife has a good relationship with the kids, and so do I.

I mean the kids turned out well because of the personality of my wife. That's probably why I married her.

I'm focused on my pension now rather than my career. That may sound boring and it is. Watching the pension go up. But it's important.
