I have a 2022 Toyota Corolla. Not exceptionally new but pretty new at 4 years old.

I bought a 2007 Toy Rav4 Limited, 6 cyl, 4WD, fully loaded, with 83,000 miles in 2017. It had a singe owner, an old lady who did all recommended maintenance and service at the dealer and had every receipt. It was absolutely pristine,

I still have it and just passed 120,000 miles. It's almost 20 years old now. I love it and plan to drive it forever.

I got a 2013 Skoda fabia station wagon. I know it's relatively old but it cost me only 4000 bucks when I got it and it's in pretty decent shape. I don't bother paying much for a car. Cause why? Just to shell out another 25k in 5-10 years? Hell no. Might as well keep that spending low cause a cheap car gets me where I need to be just as well as an expensive car.

@Iron_Man One day I will gift it to someone & when I find something new I’ll hand over the keys. Earlier this year the 2026 Toyota 4Runner Trailhunter caught my attention & I was ready to take it for a test drive until I found out what was under the hood & laughed. Two sales people were there trying to sugarcoat bullshit & I told them like it was. It’s a joke of an engine underrated for the vehicle. I was so ready to buy it & the vehicle looked perfect for me inside & outside minus what was under the hood. A 4 Cylinder 2.4L engine are they fucking kidding me? You want to laugh the sales lady said Oh but it has a turbo & I said I can’t be seen driving someone so underrated. I also told her to call me when Toyota decides to put a V6 or higher in it. I laughed & walked away.

Not my first choice of vehicles, but some kid crashed into my ‘99 Suburban and wrecked it out in front of my house at 3 in the morning. My friend said his mom would sell it to me cheap because her mechanic said it was going to die, but it’s fine.
