I do take cold showers in the summer and warm ones in the winter. I can handle cold water but I only do it when I have to or really want to. Like diving into a cold river to get the volleyball or swiming in almost freezing water underneath a waterfall in the mountains and then lying on a warm rock to warm up again. I can kind of steel my mind when I need to. I also like cold showers in the summer because it makes you feel refreshed for like 2-3 hours. But now I'm living in a apartment that's half burried in the ground and well isolated so it's a lot cooler than you'd expect in summer so I don't really need to take cold showers atm unless it's gonna get really hot.
i don't shower. i sleep in mud. but if you asked for some smart advice, i would say that the ice bath trend is not so good. aneurysm or something like that, i heard can be triggered by cold. i used to only shower cold for years, swim in a pond whose ice scratches my chest. i actually don't know if i can swim or not, i only tried in a pond, and it is a miracle i didn't get myself killed. just like the time i held an infrared lamp in the bath tub and was falling asleep, almost electrocuting myself. i think cold showers must be beneficial for people who want to break habits, the pain and adrenaline make that other craving or habit seem dwarfed. but i personally stopped the cold shit because it makes me into a beast, the same heat that can be used for the third eye and heart chakra, gets wasted into body heat. if you ask me. it has nothing to do with me becoming a lazy loser.
First thing in the morning I'm taking as hot a shower as I can get it. My AC is on all night and it's like 65 in here when I wake up. If I've been outside for 2 minutes in the summer? I'll go back and do that ice bucket challenge happily...
I've always, ALWAYS taken cold showers... morning, day or night
but, you just have to consider the fact that even during the night and some mornings... down here, we wake up to temperatures around the 90 degrees so... that's why
I sweat easily, so I can't do fully hot showers. I'll usually start off with warm water to warm my body up, then I turn it down. I try to stick with lukewarm, but with the hot weather coming soon, I'm probably going to be taking colder showers.
In the summer, I take a lukewarm shower and just before I'm done, I'll put the water on cold for a few seconds. In the winter, I'll take a warm shower.

It's literally freezing here most mornings for about 4 months. Last year hit 0F one night.
Yep. Hot showers are the only way.
Hot showers in spring, autumn and winter, cold showers in summer.
Cold to lukewarm. I hate hot showers.
I take cold showers a couple of times per week. They are for penitential reasons.
Depends on the weather but usually I don't like them too hot.
I take more like very warm showers so not piping hot or cold,
I start my showers off warm, and then gradually make it cooler as I go
Take hot showers. Cold showers are just a little too much.
