People would just not use your site. It's not hard to make websites. If you create high entry barriers to use your website, people will go elsewhere and you will go out of business.

All the same people will still be online, they just will be on different websites. It's like when the Democrats tried to censor all the Republicans. What happened? Alternative sites launched and millions of people migrated to other platforms, domain registrars, email providers, etc. Nobody left the internet. They just left you to your echo chamber.
