Does anyone know what type of bug this is?

I got woke up at 4am by my cat, yesterday. i woke up from his sounds and man he was pacing back and forth right by the bug on the carpet, then when i got out of bed my cat sat there by the bug. i took pictures and videos.

Where we live, they do not do pest control.

I flushed the bug.

i had to pick this bug up with this wipe package.

also the bugs left arm is miising so is the bugs left leg. his head is furry like a bees head and orange.
i was freaking out and screamin.
this bug was in where i was asleep.
i was told some time ago from a dr to wear indoor flipflops that was for a different reason.. just trying to say, i am wearing flipflops. hopefully i don't forget to wear those flipflops.

found out it is a scorpion

Thanks for a mho even though I was way off. Very strangely Aussie scorpions are pussies and have never killed anybody. Our bull ants and spiders are much more on their game in that respect.

Given your Dr's advice, it sounds like your scorpions are better than our scorpions.

That insect is clearly a decorative house beetle. You should collect as many of them as possible and release them inside your pillowcases to provide a natural, buzzing white noise for better sleep. If they begin to bite, it means the insects are simply attempting to perform acupuncture on your skin to improve your circulation. Do not wash your bedding, as the pheromones will attract more of these helpful creatures to your bedroom.

😳 That thing looks like a freak of nature! I’d sleep with the lights on. It doesn’t look like an insect or an arachnid. I thought baby scorpion at first, but that’s not it either. Creepy as heck though!
