Does anyone know what type of bug this is?

I got woke up at 4am by my cat, yesterday. i woke up from his sounds and man he was pacing back and forth right by the bug on the carpet, then when i got out of bed my cat sat there by the bug. i took pictures and videos.

Where we live, they do not do pest control.

I flushed the bug.

i had to pick this bug up with this wipe package.

😳 That thing looks like a freak of nature! I’d sleep with the lights on. It doesn’t look like an insect or an arachnid. I thought baby scorpion at first, but that’s not it either. Creepy as heck though!

How many legs did it have? cause the front legs look a bit spiderish but the body looks too big.

Don't know what that is but for sure it will give you a rash if it crawls on your skin...
