I’ve been thinking about something lately.
We often assume that more educated societies are also kinder or more just—but I’m not sure that’s always true.
In many parts of the world, issues like domestic violence or not believing women are openly acknowledged problems. But even in societies that are considered more “advanced” or educated, similar patterns still exist—just in different forms.
It makes me wonder whether education alone really changes human behavior at its core, or if some societal issues are more universal than we’d like to admit.
Not a criticism—just an observation. What do you think?

Yes, the right wing propaganda tells young men to not go to college because its for sissys or they claim the "woke" professor will fail them if they disagree with the professor.
I sort of believed that because of the right wing propaganda and then I went to college and wrote about my anti-trans beliefs to an lgbt professor and he gave it an A- . I wrote that i didn't mind homosexuals, but I didn't agree with bottom surgery and transgenderism. The professor didn't care and he was apart of lgbt
The right wing. I only saw college kids who said they didn't want to read about slavery or anything that had to do with anti-black racism because it was traumatic for them, but those same guys will be talking about Eurporia in class and the professor will ask them how can you watch a show like that, but can't write an essay on slavery
That's when I realize everything I saw online about the "woke" professors was bullshit.
Mostly people went to college will for socialist policies because to help others. When you are uneducated you become easy to manipulate and dumb.
See the thing is with things like LGBTQ etc. is now they are normalized in certain societies - which is amazing.
But those same societies were once upon a time heavily anti-LGBTQ.
So I feel like LGBTQ doesn't really rock the boat with regards to now it's normalized and accepted so showing acceptance towards it is the norm.
But things like domestic violence for example - in almost every society under the sun, it happens, no one cares it happens, and no one supports the victim.
But my point isn't against education. For sure it makes you smarter there is no doubt about this.
Does society at large which are educated though become kinder and better human beings? This part I'm not so sure about.
100% it does though humans are still just humans. Without education however people would resort more to violence than diplomacy simply cause they can't think that far ahead.
Education has made less people smoke but plenty still do but it 100% caused less people to smoke is another example one could take.
