We call them estates in the UK and out of curiosity I've had a Google of car sales places. One big chain has 2755 in stock out of 27116 cars so that's 10% some smaller places either don't list them or have around 5 estates.
I think they've become an old person's car, I've never been in one. Hatchbacks and Suvs make up most uk cars
Yes, my grandparents had one. A great grocery getter and road trip car.
Agreed. I might get one myself someday
But a bad girl getter !!!
Gotta have them wood panels. Everything had them back then. Even tvs and the Atari 2600 lol
Seventy-something "girls?"
But not way before my time.

As a kid my family had a 1986 Plymouth Reliant & I sat in the way back without a seatbelt. Fun times.
You mean ridden in the back or what? In the UK we call them estate cars. My brother owns one.
Estate cars are less popular since they invented a hatchback with back seats that folded flat.

Yes we had a volvo station wagon when I was growing up but more modern than these ones in the pictures. I loved it.
MAN how the teens hated these cars. SO not COOL... Yeah, we had one. Best vehicle ever if you actually want to do stuff.
Once or twice, but I never had one... I don't have a driver's licence.
i don’t think u ever even see them here🤷🏻♀️
No italian station wagons huh? lol.
not that i can think of🤔 or else i just don’t pay attention enough to cars to remember!!😮
No never. Are they really worth the ride?
If you never grew up with them it may not have the same impact for you lol. its really just nostalgia.
although i kinda think these are still better than SUVs personally
You're right. I wouldn't know. But my uncle does tell me often the same thing. That they just don't do cars the way they used to and that driving know isn't half as much fun as it used to be.
Ridden and driven one.
Ridden on cartop
Wow.
Sure, but I AM 73.
Rode in a Ford Taurus wagon
