I'm staying with my dad at the moment.
He wakes up at 2am. He slams doors and cupboards. Bangs things hard on the kitchen bench while my mum and I are trying to sleep.
I've told him to stop and that me and mum have work but he just doesn't want to know.
Each time I talk to him about it he just says ok and keeps on doing it. Or he'll turn into a screaming match.
Do you think he is being rude?
He is Croatian and 72 so he doesn't listen to what anyone says.
I've just had it up to hear with him.

Yeah, I've been noticing that a lot with my dad recently. Sad he chooses to be miserable.

I've been actually thinking about putting him in a home. His behaviour over the last two years has been shocking.

I had an argument about it again today. I told him I'll put him in a home. His response was "I'll die in this house and I'll come and haunt you when I'm dead." He then said I need to go in care because I keep bringing it up. He's such a psychom

I'll by some sage and leave it in the room he stays most in. Lol. I feel bad for my mum dealing with his shit but she doesn't want to leave him. I tried the slamming thing, he sleeps through anything. I did exactly what he does and didn't budge. I'll do the dinner thing and he always asks me to scan thing or reply to texts his friends him so next time I'll tell him to do it himself. I'd say he's worse than a child but I don't know what he is. When I told him the first few times he'd just tell me to f off. I have no idea what he is. Lol.
Maybe there’s something wrong with him and he’s mad because he feels helpless. Make sure he’s alright

Lately he's been going at 11pm and wakes up at 2am. I've tried talking to him but it turns into a yelling session. He's an asshole father. Always has been. I'm here for 2 more weeks till I move into my new house.

I bought it but it's on a mortgage. I've got a friend moving in with me so she's helping with rent. Thanks. It will be nice not living with random people and have my own space. I've know my friend since high school and know she'll look after it.
Congratulations I’m happy for you. I own my own house to, but I paid it off the mortgage. I think that’s an awesome thing being a homeowner.
