Why am I more expressive around some people than others?

Around some people I'm charismatic, funny, witty, talkative, overall more expressive. Around others I don't emote as much, trip over my words, don't know what to say.

This happens with me sometimes. How I act depends on how the other person is acting. If they have a relaxing or disarming personality I’m a lot more relaxed and myself.


Others sometimes have a personality that doesn’t mesh naturally with mine and that’s when I run into issues feeling natural in my speech.

Sounds like some people are relaxing to be around but others cause you to feel tense and nervous... Seems simple.

Practice more often to work through it. If that doesn't work. Talk to a counselor about it and let her or him help you...

There is no reason not to be yourself around everyone unless you are trying to be something you’re not to impress some people or people please
