I have been going through how G@G is, now. Makes me miss the older version, yk.

For those who have been here awhile, do you miss the old G@G?

I’ve been on this site since I was 21 (hence the name), I’m 34 now. I personally don’t feel like things have changed much here, aside from the AI accounts. The community, in my opinion, has always been relatively small compared to platforms like Reddit or Quora. Even when I first joined, this site was a “stumble upon” find, not recommended by anyone or advertised anywhere. The bots and trolls have always been a factor, the anon feature often being misused. Maybe if I socialized more with other members vs just commenting on posts and moving along, then I’d also feel like activity on here is dead or it’s less-lively lol.

I returned after quite some time, and it's so different. Not only it's dead compared to before, but these AI futures are a bit weird to me. I prefer old gag, reactions to opinions and all.

Yea, I am on and off here. It is absolutely dead. Like there use to be so much action. I also don’t understand the need for AI. The whole point of the app is to interact with people. 😅

From like 14 or 15 to 18 is a huge jump.
I mean, it makes sense though, given the kind of questions some adults here ask. At the same time, they could have just found a better way to restrict certain posts from the younger people. I wonder if that is one of the reasons the site is kinda dead. 🤔
