Is it normal to close a bank account and I still get monthly statements on it?

Nothing illegal anymore and If I was doing something illegal I wouldn't be stupid enough to put the money in a bank, but rn I'm selling colognes, this problem is from far long before that tho, the dispute was for money being taken from me without permission not any illegal activities from my part so I don't know why they didn't close the account but when I try to login, the account doesn't exist 🤔

I think it’s worth checking with your bank to make sure the account was fully closed. Getting monthly statements after closing it does seem a little strange. 🤔

You might get statements a few months after you close the account but they should stop. Are you sure the account was formally closed,

we do online banking, have stopped paper statements for years.

They told me after the dispute closes that they will close the account, which was in the beginning of the year, I still receive monthly statements smh

No there was a transaction that wasn't done by me and I ended up trying to close the account to go to a new bank, they said after the dispute closes they will automatically close the account but I still get statement emails from them but my login doesn't work

Statements saying okay, you have no money in your account? That doesn't sound normal at all. In fact I'd say the account isn't closed.
