or are good morning texts not supposed to get a response? Like today I sent "good morning :) hope your day goes awesome! my day is kinda meh because hurricane Sandy took out my power haha"

To the others:

No it's not every day, maybe like 4 times within the past 3 weeks lol. Most of them were simple "Good morning (her name)!" or "Good Morning!".


I was hoping this difference good morning text would get a response, but it didn't. Oh well, not gonna read into it that much

That is perfectly fine... Do you like this girl? Are you guys dating? Or just friends? The way I see it if you are important enough to her she will reply at any given hour of the day or night. If she sees your message she will respond. But on the other hand if your just another person to her, replying to you might not be as important to her. Also she might just be those type of girls that have a busy morning getting dressed and ready for school, so don't stress it too much. If worse comes to worse just ask her if she gets your messages!

I love good morning texts! Maybe her power is gone too and she didn't get to charge her phone. Did she respond later or no? I'm in long island and everyone here lost power. Don't take it personally yet. If she doesn't usually respond to them stop sending them and let her chase you. I am having a similar problem..this guy usually texts me and for the past 3 days has been letting me contact him first. see my question..maybe you can help me.

are you doing it EVERYDAY? If so, then I wouldn't be expecting a response, and she might be a little annoyed.

Try cutting down to once a week, and see if she responds then.

Don't send them every day. Don't be too available. But you've got nothing to worry about given she's fine with you in person.

I usually always respond If I'm into the guy. Maybe that's her way of not showing that much interest of you two growing into a relationship.
