How should I take being called "cute" by a girl?

I recently updated my Facebook photo. However, a girl commented saying "aww cute" and I'm not sure what to make of that comment. While I'll admit I don't understand women, I can't help but feel slightly offended. >.>

Does this pretty much mean she thinks I look like a girl she'd not even consider dating or should I take it as a compliment?

It's a compliment! Girls are a lot more feminine (obviously), so they use girlier words, even when describing guys. What were you doing in the picture? That could also be a reason why she could say cute instead of hot or something.

P.S.A lot of my crushes I would actually describe as cute before hot js (even though I don't have the same opinion as all girls) ;)

So.. being called cute gets you slightly offended? LOL. Don't read into it so much. It's a GOOD compliment. You have good looks. Maybe a baby face? :3. And if cute guys didn't get dates then neither would the jonas brothers, Justin beiber (bad example), or one direction.
