If a guys say "we should party sometime" what does that mean?

I met him at a few different parties recently we talked a bit and after talking on Facebook for a little he gave me his number and said we should party sometime. A little while later I went and hung out in his room with a few of his friends he didn't act as interested around his friends but texted me the next morning and said he wished he came out with me last night do you think he's into me?

He asked you to party, not to go on a real date. Basically it means 'You're decently cute, I'd like to hook up with you but I don't want a relationship with you or have to work to get with you, so do you want to come to party, drink, and hook up with me?'

I think he's trying to get some booty. But perhaps he likes you and was just nervous he'd look stupid hitting on you in front of his boys. "We should party," generally means "Let's get drunk and hook up," from my experience, though.
