Being Italian, this isn't unusual behavior.  These days it's dangerous, of course, to try that with a total stranger, but if it's a friend of a friend, I try to keep my wrist timing finely tuned by smacking her when she's not expecting it.

No, but I did it to a male teacher once... I really, really hope they never ended up telling my parents... I have no idea why I thought that was an awesome idea, I just thought it was.
