Is being called adorable a good thing?

It's been happening since I started high school. At first it didn't bother me - I thought it was awesome. Now I'm in college and that's all I hear. Should I take it to heart? Or is it a compliment?

It is a good thing. It means you are sweet and make them smile. You are someone they can trust naturally. It may not be the compliment you want (ie. sexy, beautiful) but it does go hand in hand with cute and pretty. It is an often unworked angle when it comes to dating. Don't try to shed a positive thing you have naturally. Make it your angle, own it, just be adorable. One day someone will utterly adore you, and you will know that they do for all the right reasons.

Definitely, some girls take offense at being called cute or adorable, but ti's definitely a good thing, at least if I say it to a girl.

Well, it beats the hell out of being called ugly and It certainly isn't an insult.

When I think of adorable I picture puppies,kittens,and babies. You probably have adorable mannerisms or physically are adorable.

I know it probably bothers you because you want to be called pretty, sexy, and beautiful instead right? Guys probably don't want to come on too strong when they say it.

Depends on the way people say it. If they say it in a "ironic" manner, they're insulting you (I know people who do that) otherwise it's a compliment. If it's a compliment it means you're sweet.

But it depends how it was presented as well, if you made a very ignorant/stupid statement and someone calls you adorable, it's because you remind them of a child...
