So a guy called me cute. I know cute is for animals and little kids. It really insults me, I'm not a kid. Does it mean I'm not gorgeous or act and look like a kid? Is cute a insult?

It could be an insult depending on the context. I agree it could possibly be used to make you feel childish. Generally I think most people don't intend it to be an insult but it could be used that way.
