What does "kinda seeing someone" mean?

So had a casual thing going with this guy. We lost touch and recently reconnected when I wanted to get physical. He was different this tine... Very attentive, wanted to cuddle and as he did he held my hand and played with my fingers. He didn't want me to leave that night, but I already had a cab set up. He responded to my texts quickly, but never initiated. Tonight though, when I asked if he wanted to hang out he texts "kinda seeing someone". I wss taken aback nc I asked if he was single before the hookup, but just a week or two later he in a rs? What does it mean? One guy said it means he wants to leave her, but I think it means not interested. Who is right?

It can mean that they are interested in someone but they are not fully interested in them, or it could mean that they are progressively working out with someone but not fully committed.

It means he's not worth even one more text message. Move on and find someone who won't play games and isn't "kind of" attached to another woman. If he IS seeing someone, even "kind of" then he just cheated and you're the side chick. If he ISN'T seeing someone then he's a game player and who needs that bull$hit? Either way, I would block him and move on. You deserve so much better.
