Shoulder squeeze/rub, does it have any meaning behind it?

So I've known this guy for a month and we hang out semi regularly lately it has become more regular and for longer periods of time also I'm hearing from him a lot more then I used to anyway we have barely touched each other other then handing something to one another as I was leaving his house and had my back turned to him putting my shoes on he put his hand on my shoulder and did this squeeze/rub thing whilst saying he is starting to really enjoy my company. I've never had a male other then a family member do the shoulder squeeze to me does it have any meaning behind it? Also if this next part changes what it means he continued to say as I was getting in my car we should organise a night for my daughter and I to come round for dinner and stay the night so we could have a couple of beers together?

Any person that says, "I enjoy your company" is basically saying they're catching feelings. And the fact that he not only invited you but invited your daughter is saying he wants a relationship. I've never met any guy that got involved with a woman's family that had no intentions of staying. Most try to avoid familial interactions like the plague.

First of all I said I hadn't had a male do this gesture other then family secondly don't judge the fact I have a daughter to mean the males I have been with before not to be complete jerks I've been single for four years and am only 24 so based on that fact when I was dating , I was dating immature punks I came for advice not sacrasim!
