Is it dangerous to sleep with a hot rollers set plugged in?

My heater stopped working and I'm supper freakin' cold!

So I turned on my hot rollers set to heat up the room.

I've done this for 3 days now and it heats up the room fairly nice.

Is this dangerous? Or is it just the same as having a heater on?

I haven't bought a new heater because I never think I need one until I'm going to sleep.

The girls thought I had them on my hair? No, I just plugged it in to heat up the room.

Hmm... I wouldn't recommend using them like that on a long term basis. They're not designed for that kind of usage and I think you would be better of wearing extra layers of clothing for now and investing in some kind of heater. Hope that helps... :o)

Yeah I would definitely say that's dangerous. It's not designed to be on that long and will definitely break a lot more quickly

It's quite dangerous as they are not heaters and are not designed to be on for a long time. That's a huge fire hazard! You should look into getting an electric blanket with a timer instead.

Hot rollers are not meant for this nor to be on for long periods of time. Buy a heater or something. You don't want to risk your house burning down due to this.

Well they aren't meant to be left on for long periods of time, so they might melt and cause a fire. Hope you have fire insurance...

I don't think it's really designed to be on long term like that. It is kind of like an electric heater I guess. The thermocouple on my furnace broke recently and I just used the oven to heat the living room and closed the bedroom doors.
