A lot of overweight women call themselves curvy.
Lets face it a lot of women don't want to be seen as fat, so in order to feel good
about themselves they use that title.
That title for them is incorrect!
Many people misinterpret what "curvy" means because a lot of people
use it the wrong way.
The real definition of curvy, isn't one that is "fat" or "overweight".
It is supposed to be used to describe
someone that has a nice figure.
They do not go straight down , they probably have hips, butt, maybe some breasts.
They are probably either medium sized or thick.
It means you have something to grab and your figure looks good.
Ex of curvy - Beyoncé, Tyra banks etc.

i think somewhat unfortunately curvy has become a synonym for some to be a euphemism for fat. I don't consider they synonymous at all though

Based on your height and weight, you are not fat. By curvy it means that your body structure or figure looks nice. You don't have to be fat to have a nice, curvy figure. But every person has his/her own definition of "Curvy". So, don't rely on the opinions of just one person.
No.. You don't have to be in order to be called curvy. Some women just have lthese proportions that make the hourglass - larger pelvis, very tied from the middle and bigger boob-line. If I was a man, I'd prefer curvy women.

There is a difference between curvy & fat I have always thought of myself as curvy and have been called that on more then one occasion. I know they weren't referring to me as fat.
