Why does guy I'm seeing call me fat?

I'm a size 0. 5ft 9. Why did the guy I was seeing call me fat? A guy before did the same and his new girlfriend is twice the size of me. I don't get it. Is it some power thing? It's not working. It's just stupid. I've blocked this guy by the way. I don't get it. I'm not a super confident person so I don't get why they'd want to knock me down. I'm an expat in a poorer country from where I'm from (Britain to Romania. I work with homeless kids and have a started a charity) and I was starting to feel a resentment of my being English, despite me speaking Romanian. I try to be a good person. I take care of my appearance. Why be cruel to me? British girls used to bitch at me all the time from school days onwards too. I don't get it. I try to be nice. I'm quiet, hard working. It's frustrating to me why people get off on being cruel and saying things to me I know not to be true.

I know it sounds strange, but people often use opposite labels as terms of endearment. They'll call a 7' tall person Shorty. It's a joke that shows lack of creativity. Observe the person beyond just the label they are using. Does he show interest and consideration, or is he selfish and insensitive? If he's selfish and insensitive, then he's probably in a habit of pushing people down in an attempt to push himself up. It doesn't work, but people who follow this pattern often become insatiable in repeating this pattern. Distance yourself from this type of person, as you're not going to get them to change. If he shows interest and consideration, offer an alternative you'd be more appreciative of hearing. Insecurities and lack of social skills can lead people to make inappropriate blunders unintentionally.

It is likely sarcasm. You should not internalize it as they think they are being funny. An opposite attempt at making the same point humorously would be "skinny mini". I think they are saying... put on some weight although I could be wrong there.

I think you were out of his league. And you can share your weight to really know if you are fat. Because with your height I think you would be in the fat category if you were 65-70 kg. Below 60 and you are average and below 52 you should be on the slimmer side.

I see you're really a caring person. He should treat you better. Try to find a man who accepts you for who you are.

Is guess you're giving of a vibe that some do not like. If you are as thin as you say (size 0 is US, isn't it?), then I'd guess they are throwing nonsensical insults rather than a critical assessment of your body.
