Hello!! How’re you guys? I am just inquiring about a dude who is actually my psychologist. He has been doing the whole eyebrow raising at me when I am just looking away. 👀 of course I can see this and tell myself he is just taking an interest. But then he dims the lights and puts a do not disturb sign on the door. Then he makes a deal with me about being kinder to myself and he holds my hand for literally a minute. And makes deeeeep eye contact. I’m shy 🙈 so I look away but he keeps looking. Being that he asks about my life and takes an interest I kind of am falling for him. But recently I found out he has a girlfriend. Is this just me that this man is secretly into me? I need your help! You guys are smart! What do I do also?

Ever been with someone whom you chat with EVERYDAY so much so that it kinda feels wrong on either part if you didn't talk for a day? Not toxic or anything like, just that you made it a habit of talking everyday when y'all met and you don't get bored or tired of talking to them EVERYDAY.

Not only is it because I don’t have enough friends/family (that live in the same country anyways)

But even the people that are around , I’m happier to be alone and explore places solo.

I'd choose talking to all animals. Then I could talk to my cats at my parents place.. although they'll problaby just nag😂

After that I'd choose teleportation for saving time.

He may have been a little drunk or was joking. But even so, does this mean that he has feelings for me?

As an actual biological woman, I consider him to be a man, because, biologically, that's what he is. Just because he's doing an offensive caricature of a woman doesn't make him one, for the same reason Al Jolson wasn't a real black man just because he painted his face.

Reading Kindred by Octavia e Butler now. I’m about a third through and I look forward to seeing where it goes. The writing is very tactful, and I finally see why people love Butler so much

I've been with my guy for over three years. He knows I'd like to buy property this year.

My ex and I went through a lot of fights. Regardless, we managed to make it work because of our strong emotions. Just before our breakup, it reached a point to where he was calling me names and bringing up my family, basically no respect left on his part & coming at me for little things like me saying “thanks” instead of “thank you.” I blew up on him eventually & mentally checked out. 1 day we got into a fight and he said he’d block me (something he does when he’s mad). I then accepted some requests from guys- i was really mad-on social media (didn’t message them and deleted them later. He found out and hell broke and also found platonic msgs between a male friend I’ve known for 5 years. Those msgs included funny memes. I stopped being friends w/ this guy for him. He asked to check my phone, I didn’t agree because he should trust me & wouldn’t want him to think it’s ok to check my phone whenever he feels the need in the future. We ended up breaking up. We kinda kept in touch though to reconcile. Weeks turned into months leading up to us meeting in person. As we were chatting, he told me his expectations which included he checks my phone, I agreed. Then he asks to see my male followers to ask how I know them. I told him some are friends (since HS) and he didn’t like that. He said he doesn’t like his girlfriend to have male friends & I should take off whoever he doesn’t like. I had a reaction and didn’t let him check my phone so ofc he had major issues. We never got back together but now we’re surfacing the relationship again he told me of the same expectations. I’m really conflicted and don’t know if getting back with given expectations are normal or not. Is getting back a good idea?

Help me settle this debate:
In your opinion, are women with low self confidence or women that need constant reassurance more likely to cheat?
Please explain why or why not.

Even with no actual experience I still believe I fall under this category, I wonder if I need to manifest the law of attraction or something even though I do think that’s bs.

You know when you have a gut feeling? I’ve been on and off the dating apps for years, it’s come to the point where I’m not as interested & I swipe on matches/reply to msgs every few days. I’ve never had a real relationship, I saw someone for a few months maybe 5 years ago & something told me after I saw him that’d I’d be single for a long time. With him it felt like settling & I refuse to ever be with someone that made me feel like that again.

I had to use dating apps bc I’m not very friendly & I don’t get approached in person. I’m told I’m cute/attractive & I will say I have a very low sex drive (haven’t masturbated or had sex in 5 years). I don’t think this is a huge deal considering this isn’t something that will be an issue that early on, a guy can’t just look at my profile/see me in person & know that right off the bat.

I get matches (never been the issue) but it’s always: ghosting, fizzling out, lack of interest (can go both ways), feelings not reciprocated, just not a good match & some guys are just crazy. I just always have a gnawing feeling like guys aren’t attracted to me, I’d get told once in a while that some guy looked at me/found me cute but they never do anything about it. And I don’t either hence why I’m posting this

TLDR: based off the description, is this something that’s unlucky in love?
