Looks like strong men are accompanied by strong women. I don't know anything about celebrities, except for their names. I found this list and picked only those celebrities whose names I've seen mentioned on this site before. In your opinion, whose wife is the most obvious dude?

The last few Olympics have seen controversies over women in beach volleyball and beach handball having to wear revealing bikinis, because promotors think it increases audiences (though they have since been allowed to wear more). But men have always been able to wear shorts and tank tops.

Do you agree men should have to take their shirts off for Olympic beach sports? This is how they dress for competitions outside the Olympics anyway, and it would be more entertaining for female audiences, so same logic.

I thought this question would be interesting because when I used to be incredibly involved with politics on here, most people I interacted with seemed to consider themselves right-wing and conservative. I don't think I've been greatly involved with politics on here for a few years, like yeah, I've still be involved in discussions and all but like 4-5 years ago I was the most involved I used to waste so much time on here was ridiculous💀

If you're wondering about me: I don't identify with a political label. For me, I think it's better not to because people will just paint a picture of your views based on what they perceive about your political label and I think that can be really counterproductive when you want to discuss certain topics. I think remaining unlabelled gives me the freedom to express myself, my views, and helps me be more open-minded because I feel no loyalty toward any side.

In times gone by a traditional boxing day tradition here was to chase women and beat them with holly branches. It was supposed to bring good luck. The practice died out about 100 years ago.

Now the average family vegetates in front of the TV stuffing themselves with chocolate safe in the knowledge they're not going to get a prickly thrashing. But is that a good thing?

Is it time to bring back good old fashioned traditional values like this? Why do you think people stopped? Do you think if we brought it back it would help the economy?

I was inspired to ask this question when I came across the above photo on Reddit. It was apparently a post about a guy and his girlfriend who used to be very religious Mormons who always dressed "modestly" now becoming "ex-Mormons" who enjoy wearing "short shorts" together and don't pay attention to modesty anymore. And while I thought that was very sweet and "good for them," I couldn't help but notice the enormous length difference between the girl's shorts and the guy's shorts. And whether I liked it or not, it pissed me off. Not necessarily because of this isolated incident itself, but because of how common/widespread this phenomenon is in general. Even when it comes to children's shorts.

Like just look at the picture itself, it's a perfect example... her "short shorts" only have like a 2-3 inch inseam to them and stop at the very TOP of her thighs; while his "short shorts" have at least a solid 7-8 inch inseam to them and stop only SLIGHTLY above the knees, exposing only merely his very lower thighs.

Keep in mind these are supposed to be "short" male shorts too. Usually men's shorts don't show a few inches of thigh above the knee like in the photo. It's not uncommon for men's shorts to be knee-length or below the knee, with an inseam ranging from 12-15 inch inseam. So the length disparity is often even bigger than shown here.

Meanwhile, while the girl's shorts are indeed "short shorts" it's also hard to find shorts longer than that in the women's section, and as a result almost every woman wears that same length of shorts. So by female shorts standards they're not "short" but just "normal." And even the normal length women's shorts are short as fuck when compared to men's "short shorts"... you can kind of see the problem here.

It just feels like the fashion industry is unnecessarily sexualizing women and trying to get them to show way more skin/thigh than their male counterparts. It doesn't feel right.

My Christmas was very peaceful and I loved it. My coworkers cooked and I had a blast with them. My latin coworkers cooked hot rice milk. Lol, a combo I wouldve never thought would go together but it was delicious. After, I went home and watched Christmas movies.

Just a nice black top paired with baby blue jeans and either sneakers, boots or mid high heels.
I'd add:
+ some delicate accessories (earrings, necklace)
+ belt (maybe), a shoulder bag
+ simple mani, nothing extragavant
+ natural to minimal makeup (just an eyeliner and a touch of lipstick for me personally, I like to stay true to my original form lmao)

Let's say the date is not happening in winter lol... think spring/summer

I’m asking as I have my mom, family, past landlord & moms friends judge me. My mom says I can never have sex only she can have sex and she’s 60. Then her friends live alone & have kids & they say to my mom why your daughter lives alone? That’s strange. Y she’s not living with her mom? She is hiding men in her apartment for sex. Wtf? I have a boyfriend, a partner , I’m not 15 hiding men. Im 25 as well. Y her friends are acting like I’m 15? Unless my mom is saying lies to her friends that I have no boyfriend & not 25. My past landlord had a son 23 & already with a baby. But he was living with her & ex girlfriend living alone with baby. And I was 24 no baby & have boyfriend visit me in my apartment I’m renting. All she did was spy on me. How did her son and she herself have babies? By having sex. Her sons not married. Why she’s so angry boyfriend visits me when her son is having sex younger than me and already has a baby now? I’m so confused.

I am dating this guy & though had good dates, etc. there's things that make me wonder if he is merely after sex. Like he has spoken of kids but doesn't want to meet my family.

Yesterday as example we'd planned all last week to be together Christmas. He was gunho in the morning call to meet up but then when it may not just be sexual he turned around & bailed on the meet up. I called him out on it, saying that I want more than just sex.

Today in speaking he doesn't end his conversation with "I love you" as is usual.

You insisted on buying the biggest turkey in the shop again didn't you? Now the family has turkey on the menu for the foreseeable future.

As a KISS fan, I saw Vinnie Vincent Invasion and immediately listened to it. On Spotify they only have their All Systems Go album on there, and I loved it, Then I'd heard Mark Slaughter and Dana Strum formed Slaughter, and at first, I hated them. They weren't in KISS so obviously they were surely inferior. L, I don't have the nerve to disrespect Slaughter like that anymore. After I listened to their song Up All Night for a second time, I had an epiphany. They are amazing. by the way, I'm team Slaughter

I got him and he wanted to talk on the phone and I said I don’t feel well I really just want to make myself some soup. I just want some time alone right now. He HUNG up on me and ignored me for an entire week now he comes back around saying how he puts too much effort in and I’m not doing anything. I know guys can feel neglected too but I think this is too much

You work at a restaurant, not a fancy one and the pay could eat a dick, as far as you're concerned. You want to be with your family but these folks asked you to "Volunteer" on Christmas eve. This little girl of a chef who she owns the place (she don't) is bossing everyone with the reason of "it's a Christmas dinner!" and every dish needs to be perfect. She comes to you and barks at you to get the meal done right the first time (it hasn't started, bish) and while she's barking you have some options... what would it be?

(even if you love/hate Christmas, she's just being annoying)
