I can’t tell if what I’ve been dealing with on dating apps is standard or just bad luck?

28F, I’m leaning towards bad luck. I’m very introverted & not the friendliest but I don’t think I’m intimidating. I’m told I’m cute/attractive, it’s not like a runway model & guys just never approach me. I’m told guys look at me but they never do anything about it & I’m too shy. I know there’s nothing wrong with me, most women seem to get guys so easily. That’s why I’ve been on and off the apps since I was maybe 18, getting matches have never been a prob. Convo always fades, ghosting, lack of interest (goes both ways) & some guys who are crazy. I’ve tried a lot of them, usually I stick with Hinge. It’s always a pattern of the guys I want who don’t want me back & the ones that want me I don’t like back. For maybe the past year I’ve become less and less interested, I reply to matches/msgs every couple of days? A few people have said maybe I’m asexual (haven’t had sex or masturbated in years), assume I’m gay or I’m unsure of what I want. Maybe they’re all wrong & simply I haven’t found the right person?

I think you need to have a skit or something written out or planned. One of the most obvious and best approaches is to talk about something on your profile. There has to be something on there that interested her or she would not be reaching out. She has exposure to that so when you bring it up then she can question and test you on it.

Simple open-ended questions that reveal personality are good. Would you rather spend a weekend nestled under the covers watching Netflix or whatever or would getting out of bed early and getting outside be preferred. There is plenty of room there for one to express their variety of personality traits and moods.

OR... Hey, how's life going right now? If nothing then give something but it should be balanced in struggle and looking forward in success... not bragging !!

OR What are your partner preferences... I mean the best one can guess? From there friends with benefits, hook-ups, serious or whatever type relationship may emerge. And finally it is time for the following;

Sadly that's my experience with ladies. Often they ghost, most don't reply and my personal favourite are the attempted scams or those trying to sell you something.

Even if they on the rare occasion actually send a message first which kn my experience does happen. It's like a like of something or a smile emote. It's still up to the guy to message first which sucks and is pretty ridiculous especially when your heavily introverted.

U definitely don’t need to be labeled just simply because u don’t masturbate or because you don’t have seggs.
I too don’t find interest in either of those things and chatting to a guy is very overwhelming or boring.
