Gooseberries were once illegal across America and even now they're still forbidden in some states such as Maine. The French have no word for gooseberries instead referring to them as "groseille à maquereau" or mackerel currents. Although seen as an English fruit you rarely see them on sale and most people who eat them either have bush in the garden or a neighbour who's had a glut and is sick of them. Countless British children have bitten into a gooseberry thinking it's just a hairy grape.

I think they do. This is cultures with god given male superiority very noticeable. Their men behave like cunning little brats with honey coated mouths, but they don't grasp when a girl is kidding with them and doesn't take them seriously. Of course lack submission of women doesn't stand even to question in those cultures.

last time i had sex was more than a month ago and I've had one period after that, so i really shouldn't be worried about being pregnant. currently in a 25 day cycle which is the longest its ever happened for me. i stopped taking contraceptive pills months ago so i'd assume my period should be regular again. I've been researching what might cause it and im starting to get anxious. i know 28 days is the longest it can be for a normal cycle, but its still unusual for me to be this long. should i wait 28 days to go for a check up?

We have to worry about getting used for sex or getting string along, someone wasting our time, etc.
I'm now trying to place myself on a man's shoes. I'm guessing it must be hard always being brave enough to ask her out and getting a successful answer if lucky. Assuming the guy wants a long-term commitment, the steps includes asking her out on a date, then asking her to be your girlfriend, asking her to move in with you or proposing to her.
