For me it’s a necessary evil that in reality no one wants but does need to be available.
it needs to be well regulated by medical professionals and good due diligence in place, such as more than one doctor making the decision (non life threatening).
I have seen the impact of draconian abortion laws, my family have suffered them in the past.. as they lived in Ireland.
The bit in the question about people having a choice, aka democracy , sort of shows it in this article, where it has results of a poll.

Quote.
A poll taken in December showed less than one-third of Oklahoma voters wanted a ban on all abortions and only Republicans were deeply divided on the question. The poll, taken by Amber Integrated of 500 registered Oklahoma voters, showed 31% would support a total ban on abortion if the U. S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade; 55% of the Oklahoma voters surveyed did not want a total ban and another 14% were unsure. Only 14% of Democratic voters and 12% of independents said they would favor a total ban on abortion if the 1973 ruling was tossed. On the Republican side, 48% of those voters surveyed said they would support a total ban, while 40% would not. Only 29% of women and 33% of men surveyed favored a total ban on abortion. unquote.

The question answered by the Supreme Court yesterday was NOT whether abortion should be freel available on demand to any woman who requests it, but whether the federal government has the right, under the US Constitution, to prohibit the states from interfering with access to abortions.
Hm I think abortion should be a choice for sure
However I’m what’s called nicely “ a surprised child” lol. I wasn’t planned and my grandmother told my mom to keep me because well why not it’s bad to abort… etc etc
If I say she did bad she kept me would sound bad right like wtf… but I say that because I went through a lot in childhood things that haunt me still even at 31 my mom wasn’t ready.
If I say she did great she kept me I’m also very happy truly happy about it because I made my mom grow up she learned about life differently through me. I also get to enjoy life too.
I still believe abortion is a choice it should be it has to be!
It's okay, unless one of the partners stated they're not okay with it beforehand in which case — why did you get involved intimately in the first place?
If you can't afford it, you aren't mentally and physically prepared to become a parent, you love your career more than family — you're still allowed to have your needs.
You don't need to face consequences. Children are challenging. Not compulsory. Period.

Abortion, in my opinion, is fine at very early stages. Its not a human yet, it's not conscious, it doesn't have brain activity (that we know of). That being said, it's still kind of off-putting in a weird way since you're stopping a human life that would-be that is in the process of becoming.
So abortion should be safe, legal, and rare. Don't readily fall back on abortion. Act as if you don't have access to it. Take precautions and do your best not to get pregnant, and only use abortion as the last option.
However, I don't mean to state this definitively. I'm relatively confident in my understanding but this is a very complex scientific AND philosophical conundrum. We don't know all the details, I'm sure there's still plenty more intricacies we can learn about fetal development. And we should do our best to understand them. But with what we know now, abortion at early stages seems right, as long as you avoid it at all costs. Abortions at mid-to-later stages seems wrong.See… I just don’t get how people are so okay with taking a life. Like there is a hart beat from like a month or something after conception. Before that… whatever you do you I guess. But after that? And most abortions are after that. Like just take it to an orphanage…
Abortion is like an air bag in a car, no one intends to use it but it's comforting to know its there if things go wrong.
Abortion should be illegal in most cases. It should be legal if mother's life is at risk, but not just because you are irresponsible and want to be carefree.
i am against abortion, but being a man i have no right to decide for a woman, i do not walk in her shoes, and cannot judge her, should be her choice
C
It's HER choice.I'm very strongly against it.
