Should New York State do more to protect abortion rights?

I don't feel like abortion rights are protected here as much as in California, Colorado, Hawaii, and some New England states.

It is part of the state constitution, not the federal constitution, but we are a huge country and states like Alaska and Hawaii are vastly different culturally.
