I've been in my current role for almost 4 years, and I'm really itching to increase my skillset and grow. A new job has opened at my company that would give me more skills, but it only pays $1000 more.

My company has a tuition reimbursement program, so I'm wondering if it would be better to stay in my current easy job and go back to school, or take the new job for the new skillset.

I told him I wasn't happy. He told me not to lose that much weight. He acts like he wants to start a relationship but we're friends with benefits. I sort of want to let this situation die but I don't know.. I'm barely hanging on. He seems nice but sometimes I feel like maybe he wants to keep me in the dark.

I feel my relationship/communication is not going well with my boyfriend. Like it’s not evolving as I hoped it would be. It feels like he is becoming more and more distant and I’m just the back burner in his life.

I have confronted with my mom looking for relationship advice. That she told me: “Honey, all men are like this. He is out there living his life and you need to give him his space. Men say they want ‘love and attention’. But once a girl gives it to him. He doesn’t want it anymore. You need to focus on you and glow and don’t worry about him. He’ll come around whenever he feels like it, and I know it hurts. Believe me, I know.”

3) Friends and family
4) Girl


Im asking, because this is my experience and I don’t know if this is common guy/relationship behavior

I can only imagine how difficult it might be. You probably have to be pretty savvy with computers and cellphones to find one on line, which I am not and probably a lot of people have trouble finding work via cyber space. I am just curious how people get hooked up with employment and wonder if that may be part of the reason there are so many openings because it's so difficult. I will start a pole below and read your opinions as well. Maybe Y'all can get some new ideas. A💡 idea (lightbulb moment) 🙂

So from time to time I have been known to drop a few hundred dollars on friends just because I see them want something I know they can't afford even though they never asked me to do it. I have bought different friends a bed frame and mattress, a Nintendo Switch, sent them money just so they could order out, and even just dropped a few hundred so one friend could start a secured credit card and build credit for a house she wants one day.

I have been there myself and know what it is like to struggle. I remember a time when $25 was our monthly grocery budget. I never asked for money, but it would have probably been nice to get it. I feel like I have been blessed financially now with our jobs, my kids are well taken care of and we have everything we could possibly want. My spouse is perfectly fine with it, but I worry about the perception of it.

Would you be grateful if it were you receiving the gift or would you feel like that person is flaunting their money over you?

Do you like city life more or do you like living in the countryside? Or a mix of them both?

I'm currently talking to a guy on a dating app. He asked me for my IG and I gave it to him. He's started messaging me on IG but hasn't sent me a friend request (My IG is private). He also told me he doesn't use IG that much. Something seems odd. Why would you ask someone for their IG, message them but not send them a friend request? Also, this morning he messaged me asking for more pictures. Why would he do that when he could just send a friend request and see my pictures on my IG account?

I asked one of my friends and she said that's a sign the person isn't looking for a relationship and just wants something casual.
