Why is he asking me for more pictures?

I'm currently talking to a guy on a dating app. He asked me for my IG and I gave it to him. He's started messaging me on IG but hasn't sent me a friend request (My IG is private). He also told me he doesn't use IG that much. Something seems odd. Why would you ask someone for their IG, message them but not send them a friend request? Also, this morning he messaged me asking for more pictures. Why would he do that when he could just send a friend request and see my pictures on my IG account?

I asked one of my friends and she said that's a sign the person isn't looking for a relationship and just wants something casual.

Talk to him. Ask him. Communicate with him. IG is easier to get than a phone number these days. Maybe he wanted nudes I don't know. Ask him. Ask him. He does sound strange though but whatever. You can see his IG and whether he uses it.
