What are your experiences with them, or do you know of anyone who has had one, and do you have any tips and recommendations?

I've had fish bowls and small freshwater aquariums but never a saltwater one.
My husband has always wanted one, and we might invest in one.
He's responsible and cleaning the tank won't be a problem.
I have chronic moving-nightmare dreams, but realistically we will probably be staying in this apartment for years (we hope) and so moving a tank is not a problem right now.

I'm in a rental apartment. Have contacted the property management firm and am still waiting to hear back from them whether they will allow it. He obviously forgot again. Have to email him again. But they just raised our rent so we're more likely to get the tank now.
I do have renter's insurance, in case of damage (although I don't know if aquariums are covered. Have to check that later.)

One time, we were sitting there in the living room watching TV and out of nowhere, our glass aquarium just came apart and the water and fish went everywhere. Really strange. I distinctly remember it was a very standard, basic, aquarium. I paid $9.95 or $19.95 for it from Petco or Petsmart, if you're familiar with those stores in the U. S.
So since I know that can happen, I'm concerned about getting a tank. It was just a normal tank.
And we've experienced a massive flood in our building so water is definitely on the brain. It's a bit of a risk.

The reason we want saltwater is for the different fish species. Been down the other road before. Want more colourful this time. Big and colourful. Lots of coral and types of fish.

P. S. I don't like purple. Why are so many search results for 'saltwater aquarium' coming up purple?

I have a friend who is a Cincinnati Bengals nut because when he was a child, he liked the way their uniforms looked. Now he is an adult who calls the Bengals "we" and is so excided that he says he has to "pinch himself" because the Bengals are going to the Super Bowl. He texted me, "We haven't been this good in years!" This dude ISN'T from Cincinnati. He is from Detroit. He never lived in Ohio ever in his life. Is this acceptable to you? VOTE!

Personally I’d like to go back to the 90’s since I was born in 99 and would like to see what the rest of that decade was like as an adult.

My boyfriend has been married once. It ended in a really bad divorce, and his ex got most rights to their children. And now, his kids dislike him a lot. (brainwashed by his ex)
They divorced about 8 years ago, and he hasn't really been in a serious relationship since me, except for like one I think that lasted a year.

He said " As of right now, all I can say is no to marriage. I don't know if my mind will change in the future or not, but I don't see that happening."

I've always dreamed of getting married 🥺

Even if he never changes his mind, I will still continue the relationship. I love him more than a paper certificate of marriage.

which one is considered most attractive, generally speaking?

This isn't a post to make fun of overweight people, just at the excuses for it that are used.

Sometimes there are legitimate reasons, but more times it is like, not so much.

I think I have heard every excuse under the sun but maybe I am wrong so share the excuses you have heard... or are they real reasons?

My father's only wishes were for me. They were to be accepted at Harvard University (the same one he studied) and be happily married. I'm single but his first wish came true. He died of cancer when I was 15 but before his death, he left a wrapped present. However his wording on it said not to open it till my wedding day.

I think it's sad because I can't share my acceptance letter with him. If one of your wishes came true after death, is this a happy or sad ending?

I asked this before as a general question, but then thought I should have done it as a poll. Sorry if read and/or replied to the first one.

There is this guy at work who is apparently usually really confident and pretty flirty, but is always kind of awkward around me.

He barely looks me in the eye, but I’m nearly positive that I’ve seen him looking at me out of the corner of my eye.

He took several months to speak to me (other than saying ‘good morning’ once or twice) but is always friendly to me, and seems to stick around for a bit whenever he sees me.

He finally properly introduced himself to me the other day and looked me in the eye and said it was nice to meet me - doesn’t sound like much, I know, but this guy never looks me in the eye! Even if we are having a conversation!

Once he had finally introduced himself, he suddenly kept appearing for the rest of the day - when I don’t usually see him that often. It just seemed a bit too coincidental.

He did ask me what I was doing after work once, but I was busy, then when I asked him the same thing, he answered in a kind of awkward and overly casual way that he was free.

He told me about himself, his home town/state, his interests, and his friends in the first conversation - probably nothing, but I now know more about him and his background than several people on my own team.

I’ve definitely noticed him, but as I don’t really know him yet I wouldn’t go as far to say I like him. I guess I just want to know if he’s noticed me too. I’m great at reading guys when it is my friends they are/are not interested in, but am terrible when it comes to me.

I personally think I fit at least the "cute" category and I dress... well it varies. I don't think I dress bad, I dress quite femininely, heels, dresses... I have long blonde hair, pale skin and I'm quite young, 22. Unfortunately I'm short but of average height with decent butt and boobs.

I've always wondered whether I'm just lying to myself and I'm actually really ugly because catcalling never happened to me...

All I'm trying to say is whether these two things are connected.

Catcalled = you're pretty
Never catcalled = you're ugly

? It would make sense in a way...

I will be honest I have thought about holding it but never to a point where I could make a meme about it or even mention it on social platforms.
