What Guys Look For In Women

Hey everyone! Okay so I wanted to do something that guys can relate too. These are things that guys look for in women. These things can also be what women look for in their guy.

1. Be Funny

Honestly if you’re always negative then you can forget about going on date number 2, 3, 4 …. You get the picture. Guys want someone that can make them laugh and they can laugh with. You’re more attractive and more approachable.

2. Be Supportive

Being supportive is the best thing you can do for your man. If he’s having a rough day, playing a sport or even is about to get into an argument he needs to know you’re down for him. If you aren’t supportive of your guy/ partner you look unattractive (a quality guys don’t want). If you support them it will push them to be better and they will always support you.

3. Good Looks

Now this will sound harsh but let’s not be stupid, looks are important. When you are looking for a girlfriend or a boyfriend you notice how they look first. Now just because you got a man doesn’t mean you should gain 30lbs, wear sweats 24/7 and fart in front of him. No man really wants that (UNLESS YOU’RE PREGNANT THAN THAT’S UNDERSTANDABLE!). He met you when you looked amazing, when you had your eyebrows on fleek, when you had your hair flowing and looking like a pentene commercial. Also this applies to men as well, if you aren’t looking your best it’s a turn off.

4. Be Confident

Confidence makes you very attractive when you’re talking to somebody. If you don’t have confidence or talking to someone with no confidence you tend to not remember that person or you tend to stay away from them. A King wants a Queen that’s how confidence works.

5. Positivity

Why be so negative for? Who doesn’t like surrounding themselves with positive people? You don’t want someone negative because if you end up with someone negative they will bring you down with them. Being with someone positive will brighten your day, boost your confidence and also will make you do better with anything you do in your life (If you feel negative your partner will look at the positives and try to get you out of that negative mind space).

6. Flirt

Know how and when to flirt. No guy wants their woman to right away in public to be a flirt. Learn to control but when it’s the right time to flirt go for it. Also it’s better if you know how to flirt, some chicks think that they do (trust me I’ve seen it) and they don’t. If you can flirt and bring out that inner goddess any guy will enjoy it (remember chef in the kitchen, freak in the bed).

7. Cook/ Clean

If you can’t cook, if you can’t clean then forget dating someone. No man or woman wants a partner that can’t “wipe their own ass.” Please learn to cook and clean, if you already know how to do those two thing than you’re golden in a relationship.

If you are going to add looks for men, then its fine for women to want a financially stable man as well. Same thing you said," Lets face it, Looks are important" money is also important and nobody really wants a beggar. Men should stop calling women out for wanting a little money while wanting Human Barbies for themselves. Looks are even more superficial than money. If you love someone its quite possible you will be sexually attracted to them as well while there is no subsitute for money. Looks fade with time while money doesn't. Excuse me for not wanting a broke ass man.

Honestly all those things are ok. I don't agree with a few of them. But those are kinda side notes.
the only thing you need to list is "be yourself". don't eat salad on every date if you want a steak. Don't pretend to like a movie just to make us happy. It is really frustrating to find out later that you lied. Then we feel tricked into a relationship. Then it ends right then and there.

Do you think you want a like you described, but get side-tracked, REALLY wanting bad boys that treat you like sht?
I know dozens that have chosen the D-bag, and then they come crying to me, because I am what you describe, I HONESTLY CARE ABOUT THEM, but I feel like their emotional tampon!!

I mostly I agree, I wouldn't put funny up there at the top, I really dont care about that at all, I am not one of those people that needs to laugh all the time to survive. The rest are pretty accurate though, I would say looks and positivity are the most important to me, but the other ones also apply pretty well, and while cooking and cleaning isn't exactly a requirement meeting a woman who is a good cook is the equivalent of meeting an angel in my book, since so many women now a days are trying to distance themselves from cooking and cleaning, I think its attractive when women embrace this and are good at it. Overall its pretty well done though.

Honestly girls don't even have to try so hard if we think you are attractive and that can mean very different things for different guys and we like who you are we'll like you even if you aren't funny or confident or know how to cook and clean I think you forgot an important one though caring every guy wants a loving caring girl the type that is able to nurture you with a hug.

This is true. To care, to show an emotion and to be vulnerable is important. No you don't have to be funny or whatever just be yourself. However I will say it is important (in general for both sexes) to know how to cook or clean... Trust me to date someone that doesn't know at all how to do those is a problem...

Being confident and funny are two things I look for in women big time, unfortunately many feel this is the mans role still...

Too many women say they just want a guy to make them laugh... I want a women where we can build off each other's comedy- I don't want to be a simple stand up for my partner...

That is very true. In this generation not many females my age can cook, clean or anything else that would take care of a house.
