  Just like the other guy before me said. If a guy murders someone, doesn't that make him a murderer? It's the exact same situation here. You cheated therefore you're a cheater. That doesn't mean you can't change, but that does means that you shouldn't justify your actions and expect people to forget about your mistakes. Everyone screws up and they have to live with it. Running from it or justifying it is a sign of cowardice.

If you are caring then you would not have cheated on your ex then boyfriend. You cheated and it is what it is. If anyone else you want to be with finds out that you cheated on your ex then it might make them think you might cheat on them
