Why it’s good to admit you are unhappy




When we feel sad, down, angry, frustrated and go on….we often deny those feelings and when someone asks us “how are you? , we amswers somethings like:



I am ok/fine




Good




But it’s a good thing to say honestly that you aren’t ok and this is why:



1. You need support from your friends.


How can people help you when feeling down when you don’t tell them you do? Friends are there for you when you need them (that’s a sign they are real friends) but you should give them the change to be there for you.



2. Help yourself, help someone else.


Sharing how you feel is like an invation to your friend or partner to share their feelings too. And so you can help eachother.


3. Improve your friendship/relationship.


One of the most important things in a relationship (if not the most important thing) is Communication. You can think your friend or partner should know you. And they do know many things about you but your friend or partner isn’t a mind reader. So tell about how you feel and you give your friendship/relationship an opportunity to grow.



4. Your health depends on it.


Don’t sharing your emotions can be the reason that you have health problems. Can’t you sleep at night, can’t eat or having headaches, maybe sharing your emotions can be a solution.



5. You deserve to be happy.


We all desire happiness and we all deserve happiness. Sharing how you feel doesn’t make you instantly happy but it helps you and the people around you on the way to happiness. Give people the opportunity to have the benefits of having a friendship/relationship with the real you.
