this is no joke, i was abused by both my parent, and it caused me to shutdown for a long time, because of it i have a hard time showing emotion not that i don't have them, i also turned into an adrenaline junky, i do crazy thing just to even feel sometimes, things like sky diving , motocross , anything that gets me pumped.

I have done that research in the past, and that's what the statistics say.
I think women face domostic violence but men get more public shame like if a girl slap a men when she is mad it is ok but it won't be ok if a men do. Check some of the social experimented videos in youtube about men hitting women and women hitting men in public then you will get the answer.
