@DiegoO Age has nothing to do with being a gamer.
Is just strange in my country to know a person in their 40s playing video games.
@DiegoO I know the feeling, it's strange in my country too, but I don't care what other people think, they are just old-fashioned.
@DiegoO My grandfather is over 80 and is still playing things like Skyrim on PS3 before endless hospital visits took over the last two years of his life.
I'm only 6 years younger than Zorax and it's still my main hobby. I don't plan on giving it up.
Statistically, the average age of any gamer in 2016 is 31 years old and there are actually more gamers over the age of 36 than under 18 or the 18-35 category.

Well those are good enough reasons as any.
Im tired of people trying to present video games as this manly thing. Its just a childish waste of time, accept the facts.

Games are more interactive than a movie or a TV show
All hobbies are "a waste of time". You do them because nothing's at stake. Book club? Art? Sports? All a waste. "yeah, but those at least build a skill-" so does gaming. Problem solving, working with others and communication, getting over your differences, hand-eye coordination and training reflexes and reaction times...
I never said in my take that being a gamer was a manly thing, I'm just listing reasons why I like to date a fellow gamer. :) I've been a casual gamer for around 7 years now, it's not like the gaming world only consists of men. Sorry if it sounded like a manly video game take to you, it wasn't where I was going with it at all. :/
