My Personal Take on What Keeps A Relationship Strong

I've had my fair share of relationships but luckily for me, I've kind of known from the offset what makes one sustainable.

Looks and personality

I'm actually not that shallow but i prefer a girl that is in shape and has to at least be average looking. If she's more attractive then she earns bonus points.

With that said, I've dated a few girls that were deemed really attractive by others but i didn't have a very strong attraction to them. for one they were too skinny for my taste and i also like humility in girls that don't live themselves more than you. Without me telling them, they presumed that i found them very attractive because other guys did. I wasn't very attracted to that

Regarding personality, there usually wasn't much to offer. Very much completely small talk and non engaging conversations. Couldn't discuss ideas and concepts or go into detail on topics. i got bored with the relationship because i didn't feel much mental stimulation so instead mostly just wanted to have sex with them.

Things I believe make a relationship last

Always learning new things together

there's nothing more repetitive than s relationship that relies on communication that hasn't changed since the inception of the relationship. I believe she and i should be learning things with our own interests and discussing them with each other. a deeper mental connection can be achieved

Open to new experiences

I've been with girls that never want to try anything new and complain about trying something. They only want to follow convention. for example trying new food, starting new activities or learning new things. i believe growth together is the perfect way to grow stronger

Commitment

I want to not have reasons to not trust you or not be trusted, respect my individuality and I'll respect yours. Know that I'm committed to you and that won't be broken. accusing me of cheating if i have girl friends only causes me to feel that's how you think when you speak to guys. Know your boundaries
