The world is changing, very fast, and modern notions of what "love" is are changing just as quickly. With the expansion of modern technology a "Good Morning" text has become romantic, and "ghosting" is akin to breaking up. It's becoming obvious that this is not healthy, as it leaves people feeling lonelier than ever, despite being connected to more, and more people. Intimacy has died, and the Western World has become enthralled in a hookup culture which is fine, but people get a sexual thrill without a commitment, or another human that they can interact with socially.
I lived in Cologne, Germany for several months, which is a city known for being the party city of Germany, and in fact has been since the 800s. I had more sex than I ever have anywhere else while I was in Cologne. During Karneval, I was even involved with several girls at once. However, this was always followed by waking up the next morning with a pounding headache, and stumbling out onto the cobblestone for some hair of the dog, and my first class of the day. While I lived there, I learnt that living that way was self destructive. I was the loneliest I've ever been in my life, particularly in a one bedroom shoebox in a wohngemeinschaft I shared, there never being less than three open bottles of liquor at arms length.
I didn't need the sex, I needed companionship, which is scarce in the current culture which is developing, a culture which must stop if we ever wish to sense any semblance of what we used to call love. I'm no hopeless Romantic, I believe that there are many girlfriends, and one night stands in my future, however it doesn't stop me from wondering where we're going, and what the future holds for us. But what I've learnt is If you're looking for human companionship, the Method of Modern Love won't find it for you.

The thing is it's good at least you have parties, listen my friend! Here we have major problems with cellphones, people are addicted, glued and brainwashed, cities are dying. Would you rather live in that kind of city?
I wouldn't wine, that's just how it is in cologne, not happy? Move out from there simple as that.
I hear you brother. It's starting to feel like all this modern technology is making some people impatient, unkind and unaccepting.
I learnt it the hard way too, like most everything. Just because something is easy, doesn't mean it's right
You're looking in the wrong crowd the wrong way
