Love at First Sight Exists❣️

Hello, welcome to my (first) take 🙂

I know that many people are skeptical about love at first sight because they never experienced it (so yep, maybe for them it doesn't exist) so I am going to discuss it starting with sharing this music video:

They replicate an experiment which happened in 1997 conducted by psychology professor Arthur Aron, where single strangers sit together in couples, face to face, asking 36 (deep) questions while looking at each other in the eyes for four minutes 👀

The experiment worked, after six months two of the participants were married, you can read the article of the experiment here.

In my opinion, I was skeptical a little too but I knew of some (a few) friends who had this experience so I had a bit of faith in it other than from watching movies. Knowing that love at first sight exists really warms my heart and I'm wishful for everyone to happen if they can be so lucky or if...

... Maybe daring (or liking) to try this experiment?

I believe it exists. One of my old high school teachers is still married to the man she met about 40 years ago or so. They got married 3 months after they first met and they're still married today. I hated that teacher a passion because she was a biiiiiiitch, but her romantic antics does give me hope. She at least left me with that one pleasant image about life's shenanigans. It's probably the most girly and kinda innocent thing Taco the Great of all people keeps I mind.

@sheflips we worked for the same company. She was a receptionist and I heard her voice over the intercom long before I ever saw her. I loved her voice and told a coworker “I had to meet her and I will one day marry her”. One I met her and we started talking we decided to go to lunch together. We immediately fell for each other. That was twenty two years ago.

Yes, it does... I went on vacation to Mexico a few years back. I saw an angel standing at the lobby wearing levi jeans. He was the most handsome and cutest guy in the world. When we looked at eachother we couldn't stop smiling. I swear everyone in the room could tell there was a strong connection between the two since they said we could burn the whole building down. Unfortunately, nothing happened between the two but not a day goes by that I won't think of him or late at night for some reason. It is weird but can happen

I personally believe that LUST, at first sight, exists but not love. Love and lust are completely different things and when you met someone you are attracted to, does not mean you are in love with them. You barely know them and their behavior. They could have a horrible personality but be super hot. I'm sorry but love at first sight does not exist.

Umm I'm not sure what the others mean when they say lust to me it sounds like something shallow but what I want to mean with my take and the experiment is that "first sight" takes more than a look at each other for few seconds just for the appearance, first sight infatuation time can vary from some minutes to a little like an hour (time taken for the experiment)
