How so? They have pathologic behaviors, so it's not like I started out knowing who or what they were... only through dating them and engaging in the process did there pattern of behavior become apparent.

When a guy is old enough to be your dad it gets creepy. More than 10 years is too much of an age gap.
I mean I agree but disagree. I mean your 26... so 10 years gap with a younger guy would put him at 16. So that would be inappropriate, at 26 I would not see any issue with you dating someone in their early 40s. But it really comes down to your personal choice and life situation.
Older men could be more stable in their career, with less debt, and confident in their dating choices... were guys your age, are still starting out, are more unstable finically, and might still be wanting to play the field and less willing to commit.
At 26 I totally agree with you, but at 36 you might be in completely different life situation, where an awesome 50-year-old might be very appealing to you.
At 36, I will be married with kids.

Physical attraction is a requirement in any relationship regardless of age. My post was not about that. Its more about mental state of older women, having better odds of finding younger woman with a more optimistic prospective on life.

Many women also prefer younger men. But we all know the power of "nurture" and how it affects women's Insecurities (expected to be "the prize", the pretty, cute, little, adorable ones)
Yup, bit honesty women's preference for younger me are not all that different then old men preference for younger women... because younger men who actually are capable of having healthy productive relationships are more bountiful at younger ages.
