THIS is the healthiest way of seeing St. Valentine's day. No "poor pity me"/"I don't need men/woman" kind of crap. Just enjoying and learning from yourself.

If someone is alone, it's because the right person hasn't come yet.

Nothing wrong with being single at all. I'm still single right now and I honestly never cared for Valentine's Day. I'm just doing me and more imporant things to do in my own life.

Cool, yeah I agree. I don't get why they would be sad and whine when they're single for the rest of the year anyway. When I see a couple, I don't get jealous. I just don't care and think 'good for them'.

  Originally not. For example Easter or Christmas. they were holidays long before it was made commercial. Buying a tree was not really common before it was commercialised for example.
