Confidence in general doesn't help me feel comfortable with my own feelings. If he's confident with emotions then that helps me feel comfortable with emotions-- which I'm not. But general confidence means nothing to me bc I'm already a confident person so I don't look fir it in igger people. plus overly confident is WAYvmirs if a turn off than being a bit timid. Which I find endearing. Too many guys ficus in " confidence" and they think it means asshole or that it's more important than honesty caring respect which it's not remotely close. I think confidence is emphasized for men just to emphasize how it's not supposed to be a " girl" trait which helps further segregate the sexes so guys know their "place" It undermines really important qualities plus it's demeaning to women. You're not overemphasizing confidence just pointing out it's overdone in general and at the cost of more important qualities.
And prrsonAlly I like the feeling in making the guy feel more comfortable around me abd vice versa. Rather than he's like some teacher watching me with bemusement.

Also i don't like surprises or unpredictability. Consistency helps me learn to trust the guy and what to expect from him. The unpredictable factor is my feelings for him. So I need the environment around me to be fairly consistent so I have time to adjust to how I feel which is awkward bc as I said I'm not comfortable with strong feelings and I dont spend a lot if time thinking of relationships or flirting so it can he stressful.

Why do people write MyTakes like this? There is no "How To" for falling in love. Love cannot be forced, and trying to display these traits has absolutely nothing to do with the likely-hood of someone falling in love with you. There are 3 things that are needed to create a loving connection between two people, they are chemistry, attraction and compatibility, and all three either exist naturally or they don't. Without them, know matter how many particular traits you possess, a person will not fall in love with you. Those three things needs to exist between two particular people to allow them to fall in love, it's that simple. There is no formula for falling in love. There is for creating a healthy and fulfilling relationship, but not for falling in love, which is completely out of anyone's control, except perhaps a neuroscientist prodding your brain with a needle.

If the girl tells the guy that they just want to be friends and they actually do become friends and the guy dates other people with no intentions of ever pursuing the woman that he once told that he likes then the girl later on in life can actually one day be attracted to him.
But that is all because time naturally had it happen.
I've had it happen a lot of times.
I told a girl 20 years ago that I loved her and she said, "I just see you as a friend"
It broke my heart but we ended up being friends still.
20 years went by and she told me she loved me.
I was completely over her at that point because my feelings had changed.
But if for some reason our feelings were mutual again at the same time then it would work.

You're over-thinking the whole thing, there is NO particular set of traits that cause someone to fall in love with you, nor do certain traits make it more likely that someone will fall in love with you. Some people are attracted to confidence and some people are attracted to reserved, insecure people, it actually happens. So there is absolutely no point in deluding one's self that following certain steps will increase the likely-hood of someone falling in love with you. People need chemistry, compatibility and attraction to fall in love, and if I had to say one more, for the sake of being practical, it would be proximity.

Nah. This is a "recipe" that is both too specific not to be sufficiently good advice in many cases (many of my friends hate unpredictability!) But it is also too general not to really mean anything (of course you should be kind and caring, HEALTHY people don't like hanging around people who disregard them and treat them like dirt).

In the end, the whole point would be to be yourself, and find someone who likes you for it. But if you are a genuinely antagonistic misanthrope who thinks niceness is a privilege that obligates the recipient to have sex with you will obviously have tougher luck finding someone insane enough to find that appealing. The guys body language as well should not put off any feelings to where the woman doesn't feel closed off and unsafe as well.
