I'm tired of waiting for my bf to propose. Please help?

I've been with my boyfriend for over 2 years. He has told me since the beginning that he knows that I am the one for him and that he is sure that he doesn't want to be with anyone else. He treats me good and everything has been fine but lately I've been asking myself why he hasn't proposed. He has mentioned in the past that he wants to marry me and have a family, but hasn't made the effort to show me he's more serious about me. Could it be that he is just comfortable with me an doesn't see the rush to get married? I have been there for him through literally everything like family members being sick, when he went to school, and his struggle to leave his parents house and buy a house. No matter what I was always there for him am he acknowledges it. He always tells his friends and me how much he appreciates that I've always been there for him. I always do everything for him and show him how much I care and love him. Wouldn't that be enough to motivate him to want to propose atleast? He keeps saying how he wants to buy a house and I just feel like I'm not a priority. It's been a year and he's not able to find one. If he really cared, even renting an apartment to be with me would be enough right? I feel that him saying it's because he hasn't found a house yet, is an excuse. I truley support his plans to buy a house but how does that stop him or interfere with him proposing to me? I'm not sure if he's serious about me or what I need to do to show him that I need to more than just his girlfriend now. I don't want to waste my time and want to be assured that he is serious with me. I feel like I am all about him but not sure if it's the same way back. Please help!

Relationships are beautiful thing if you share with the right person. NO need to be married.

First of all calm down. You are not in a hurry. No need to be in a hurry. Make this commitment with someone which lasts forever.

Be confident about yourself, nobody is using/abusing you. He is your bf and he surely loves you this is why he is with you.

I think he is waiting for the right time because he seemed to me a hard working and responsible person. He tries to make all in a good way. So give him time and trust him. Nothing can change a beautiful relationship. A title can give you nothing. But love and support mean a lot.

Why is getting married so important to you? Being married is not going to change anything. It is just having a party where you are the centre of attention and signing a piece of paper and then you go back to your ordinary lives again, exactly the same as it was before you had your party. Be happy that your boyfriend is with you because he wants to be with you and not because he promised to be. Be happy that he is planning a future for the two of you by buying a house and that he is picky about choosing the right one.
But if it is really that important for you to get engaged and married, why don't you propose to him?

Why rush 2 years is nothing really. Couples wait longer. Be patient

do NOT rush these things. remember this is supposed to be for the rest of your life. like the other person says, be patient. or if thats not good enough for you leave him.
