Should I wait for my Taurus man?

I am a Capricorn woman in love with a Taurus man. We met at work, and the first one to two months were a dream, but then after I put in my heart and soul, he says, "You spoiled the whole relationship. It was so good." A number of months, fights, declarations of love (from my side), and "I gave you so many chances" (from his side, of course) later, it reached a point where I decided to take him for what he is and leave him alone.

He says "I treated you so well, and you wasted all your chances." On the day I last met him, I asked him if he believed in me, and he replied, "Yes, I do, but why don't you give yourself a chance?" He asked me not to contact him (actually warned me), and said he will contact me "if" he liked. Now, for my age (according to my social background), its kind of getting late for marriage, and I really love him and think that I might never find such great tuning with anyone else, but I have a basic question - "Am I just dreaming? Should I wait for him? Or should I go the old-fashioned way and settle for an arranged marriage? ('coz after getting to know him, I don't think I can really choose anyone else ever again)" Any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance!

No, I have made it very clear to him that I will wait for him. But I agree I have tested him a few times by saying I want to break up if he doesn't understand why I want to keep in touch with him. However, I have more than made up for it subsequently by spending a lot of time apologizing.

I think what he means by wasting my chances is that I didn't go with the flow and enjoy the relationship, and instead raised the question of commitment and marriage. He loves his freedom, but I also need my security. Anyway, finally I've compromised and now I am doing what he wants me to - not contact him, only on the condition that he will contact me on his own - however long that takes. Is this good?

It's good and bad.. Good because he gets time to let is anger out and it will settle away. Then if he does talk to you he will be more calm. Also, if he starts to feel you have moved on he will rush after you too.

I think you need to stop apologizing, because it bugs us after awhile over and over again.

I would say don't wait for him, just try to move on with your daily routines. He may come back and realize there was something good and he wants it still... or he will stay mad and never come back. Hard to say... since most Taurus men LIKE commitment and that too with someone that they like and connect with. Just give him the silent treatment and if he does contact you.. don't act all easy. Make it difficult for him to contact you. Or rather make him WORK to win you back, because that then poses a challenge for him which he will enjoy that he would feel like he lost.

Well you're a Capricorn so you're naturally pushy and goal driven. Taurus is goal driven and more Prince Charming but doesn't become pushy. They also move at snail pace for things new and unfamiliar. I appreciate all that you are trying to say. Sorry to say, but you are just being cynical. While astrology is by no means accurate, it definitely helps you in the process of understanding someone. And I have met people over the years, and getting to know someone's astrological profile gives me a better idea of what I'm dealing with.

When you use a horoscope to tell what they're like, you're kind of insulting that person's existence really. Fuck whoever they are, what they've been through and how they've worked to become who they are, when you can just pull out a piece of paper that neatly describes and ultimately reduces them to a mere paragraph.

If you want something reliable and less vague, try MBTI personality types. Those are actually based on people's behaviours rather than dates of birth and planet alignments. Although not completely reliable, they're a far better approach, than astrology.

No, u didn't understand me. The issue wasn't incompatibility. He was from a different religion, and didn't respect me enough for the sacrifices I'd made. he took it for granted.. and I wasn't willing to go any further. Even the so-called incompatible signs can work out their differences and make it a success, only if they try. Where there is a will, there is a way. Linda Goodman conveys the same message too. Even people who don't believe in astrology too go through break-ups and blame something or the other for their trouble. So, why blame astrology? It is just like any other science. Vedas and related texts don't just speak about faith, God, and worship; along with all this, they contain exhaustive material on all possible scientific topics.

Okay, there was one episode, wherein he called me "hyper." Generally, I would go about explaining how that is not true, but that particular day, I snapped and told him enough is enough and that I will stay away from him as he wished and I made a mistake expecting things from him, and I didn't call him again.

Uncharacteristically, he calls me up that night (it is strange for someone who doesn't even want to pick my call), and asks me why I hurt him and that he needed to see a psychiatrist for the pressure I am putting on him. I think if he truly had a big ego, he wouldn't have called for that silly reason.

Another time, after I gave him a surprise visit to his house just to say Hi, he erupted at me, saying how I'm interfering in his life. Then, he again extracted a promise from me not to contact him. I agreed, but then I had already ordered an online gift for him for his b'day, and when he received it, he called me up to again warn me not to contact him... to be continued..

The natal chart, the positions of planets at the time of your birth (your astrological blueprint), is very useful in knowing your behavioral tendencies. As far as predictions go, don't read whichever newspaper/book/website you can lay your hands on. Use your discretion and decide if the astrologer is qualified and genuine, just like you would when you seek anyone's help for any other purpose. If you go to fake astrologers, you will get fake predictions. In any case, I personally am not interested in knowing the future. I only want to know why people behave the way they do, and the dynamics of human interaction.

You need an open mind to learn any subject. Otherwise, its better to stay away. I cannot accept the negative attitude with which you replied. I wouldn't like to accept any more questions from you if you don't understand that you insulted me. If you don't agree with me, it doesn't mean you should insult me. All the best for your future.

I can tell why i hate astrology: because there is thousands of people making money out of it. without any king of scientific (then rational) prof. they sell you bland information that cannot, EVER, be proven wrong. do you know James Randi madam? everyone interested in that kind of thing should get to know his work.
did you know that he offers 1 MILLION dollars to ANYONE on earth who profs, under controlled circumstances agreed by both parts, any kind of those bullshits like, astrology, card reading, ghosts talks etc...

Your argument has a lot of strength. I appreciate ur opinion. I think the James Randi challenge is quite interesting. But let me tell you, I am not into paranormal or magic or things like that. I only strongly believe the power of celestial bodies over us and the "grand plan" that our Maker has written for each of us. Of course, there is always the option of "free will," for which he has provided plenty of margin.

I totally agree with you that not all astrologers are to be believed. Please use ur discretion! But it is a valid field of study. Until Newton discovered gravity (which can't be physically seen or touched!), if anyone talked about such a theory, they too would've been made fun of. So also other stuff like the earth being round. The right time has to come, thats all.

Please don't argue if u don't want to. Nobody is forcing u. But u can't force somebody to give up something just because u don't believe in it. And I don't pay any money to anyone just bcoz i believe in it. Its a hobby and i will continue to pursue it as long as it makes sense. By the way, astrology is not the only thing I pursue in life. So, please don't worry about me. I'll do well with god's grace, and wish u good luck too.
