If you need a back story I spent this previous summer with my boyfriend in his home state. His then 15 year old sister treated me like shit and no one knew why. While we were there a few incidents occurred that made me question how she felt towards her brother but out of respect I never said anything. We have been back at college for a few months now and the questionable acts have continued. She has posted several MCM and even MCE of her brother where he shirtless and even some of just his abs. Then in the caption she put things like "I'm lucky i found him" "We have a ride or die relationship" and other things I would never say about my brother. Also in these captions of the posts she never once says "this is my bro or my great big brother I look up to" Even though these posts were very suspicious me and my boyfriend talked about it he agreed but said how does he approach his mom or sister with something like that. I was clueless. So we just stayed quiet and the posts continued. Then comments started coming people would comment on the posts asking "Oh you go with him" "your man is fine AF" and also " I see who the real bae is" never once did she correct them. Then we clicked on one of the profiles that had commented and their page wasn't on private. We looked at the pics and on one of them his sister was having a convo with this girl and the girl said "your pics are dope especially the ones of your man" his sister responded by saying " lol yea thats my baby he erky and crazy but we been rocking it for 3 years now" I couldn't believe my eyes. My boyfriend checked and he was the only guy she had on her ig. At this point he knew he had to tell his mom. My sister also follows his sister and saw the comments and wrote on the pic and said " you shouldn't be telling people your brother is your boyfriend you're welcome" His mom completely ignores everything the daughter did and said and only had a problem with my sister saying something to her daughter.

Well my bf did try to explain to his mom that his sister needs help and she became irate. She would not even talk about what his sister did and then after the call his mom and sister both texted him saying horrible things about me.

Stop worrying. she's a little sister who has a crush on her older brother. it's not a great feeling but ultimately you don't have to worry since your bf sees the problem. it's not like he's feeding the matter. she is misdirected and potentially mentally ill. but there is no sense in you going on about it. just allow the sister to grow up and mature and probably find the error in her ways, meanwhile you and your bf just try to keep your distance a bit and if her social media talk turns more into action then maybe that's when you start to worry...

there isn't a ton your bf can do. aside from have a convo, but even then the girl is still going to have the feelings she has.

it is somewhat normal for a little brother or sister to have a crush on their older sibling. when they are young it is often the first person of the opposite sex who they actually have a close relationship with.

but the posting on fb, this is my bae, and all that stuff isn't normal at all... I'm not trying to justify her behavior as being ok, just explaining.

I think you should sit down and tell your bf precisely how you feel. explain (kindly) that you love him and have a lot of concerns about the way his sister behaves. you know that he won't do anything but her behavior and public comments especially make you uncomfortable. it makes you question whether or not you can be in a relationship... but I wouldn't break up with him because he's done nothing wrong and he ultimately can't control his sister

Umm that's kind of suspicious. I'd be super paranoid over my bf's actions too. What if he molested her while she was younger and that's the reason why she is acting like that? That's definitely not normal at all.
Hopefully he didn't and she has a naive crush on him... But still... WHAT IF? Even if "experimented" with her, I doubt that he would ever confess it to you.

We did send the posts and comments to the mom she reuses to acknowledge any wrong the daughter does after seeing the comments and posts the mom questioned the daughter she said she was joking about her brother being her boyfriend and the mom found that was suffice enough. smh
