Officially Unofficial Relationships ?

Okay me and this guy have been talking for almost two months. I've taken this more slow then any other relationship I've tried to begin. Well we texted and talked on the phone everyday during the summer those two months. Well we have started school & we hold hands to each class basically & kiss each other goodbye. People see us, and ask if were going out. & what we say is technically but no. He hasn't officially asked me out. Is this bad ? Everyone knows we like each other but he just hasn't asked me straight out. What is he thinking ? Is it bad ?

It's not good or bad. People have such strict rules about what a relationship should be, but you don't have to go along with it. The only concern I would have, is that you're investing so much time in this guy, and if you're not *officially* in a relationship, it gives him the freedom to kiss other girls without *technically* cheating. That's usually the point of making a relationship official, so you can feel safe in the fact that you're both committed to each other and no one else. You could try bringing it up to him in a non challenging way? Just say that people keep asking you what you guys are, and that he feels like your boyfriend but you're confused. Then ask him what he thinks. That could lead to him asking, as he could just be shy about the whole thing.

I will advise though, that if he avoids the subject and continues this unofficial thing for like, 4 months or something, I'm gonna bet he'll never ask you. Only you can decide if you're alright with that, but it could pose some problems with trust and fidelity.

it's not bad but it's not good either. he def likes you but maybe he's just too shy to ask you. guys like when girls ask them out because it takes the pressure off of them. if you really like him and want it to be official it's ok to take a chance and ask him.

it's neither good nor bad :). why don't you ask HIM out? I mean...you hold hands...you kiss...what do you have to lose? maybe he's too shy to take it a step further. maybe you can talk to him some time after school and discuss your feelings for eachother. it's better to start a relationship slower than faster... if it goes too fast, it could get weird and frustrating and eventually break. at least that's my opinion :)

you could also ask yourself if you wanna be in a relationship with him or if you "just" like him?

he probably likes the fact that you like him, ut he wants to remain single, some people enjoy being single...even if they know someone likes them...they get a thrill out of it
