Well it did for me, and quite a number of times. You will find that the outgoing guy when alone is usually as insecure as the shy individuals. He relies on his outgoingness as a way of coping in social situations. The idea is to give this guy something that these other girls can't give him. Your uniqueness, your brains, your quiet charm and confidence. Often these guys will date girls who are self involved. Talk to him about his big goals in life, his dreams, what his ideal world would be like. Talk to him about what his biggest fear is, and what he worries most about the future. Really get to know 'him'.

Ehh, it's kind of hard to say. It's different in every situation. It could work out for you, but I know a lot of "popular" guys and they usually hang out/date people within their group of friends.

Yes it does. Not to be arrogant, but I was one of the popular guys in high school and the girl I liked was the shy type. I wouldn't call her a loner tho. She had no problems being alone but had friends.

Honestly fuck the social castings of highschool. I never thought id get my boyfriend becausw he was popular, in the chill stoner kind of way, and im the girl who sits alone and reads a book but once we hung out we were like yo your pretty chill and got along swimmingly. So yes it does happen but only if youd get along without the titles others throw on you

Well, it actually depends on the person, either if he finds you cute and attractive, or if he is just tricking you. Best to stay away from popular jerks in school, if you know what's best for you.
